Eddie Jordan signs contract extension

"The Washington Wizards and Coach Eddie Jordan finalized details of a three-year, $12 million contract extension yesterday morning. The new contract that Jordan signed will kick in following the 2006-07 season and the Wizards will hold an option for the final year. The extension ensures that the Wizards, who are coming off consecutive playoff appearances for the first time since 1987 and 1988, will enter the upcoming season with their key pieces in place, including Jordan and the trio of all-star guard Gilbert Arenas and high-scoring forwards Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison."
