The guy who needs to go is Jamaal Tinsley. He will never reach his potential.

It's difficult to tell though. After all, you can't eliminate the possibility that Kobe heads to Indiana in order to play as a teammate with JO.

I don't know for sure, but here's who I'd go with:
PG-Tinsley
SG-Granger
SF-Daniels
PF-Murphy
C-O'Neal

That's probably their best player for each position.

PG-Tinsley
SG-Dunleavy
SF-Granger
PF-Murphy
C-JO

they need to get a back-up PG who isn't 40 years old... Tinsley's inconsistent at times...

Dunleavy may be the starter, but is there a starting SG in the EC that wouldn't absolutely kill him?

JO is soft, he's not that great of a defender.

THey just dropped a top 5 coach who has shown with multiple teams that he is a top 1 or 2 defensive coach. Probably #1 with LB out of coaching.

They are gonna suffer big time this year. Not too mention their roster is filled with trash.

I don't see why the Pacers can't make the playoffs next year. Their defense was fairly solid last year, they ranked 13th in the league. Jermaine was among the league leaders in blocks. It was the offensive end that hurt them, The Pacers ranked 30th in field goal percentage. Jermaine was having an excellent year until injuries took a toll starting in January/February. I believe having Jim O'Brien will really help them out offensively. He wants to push the tempo a little and shoot some 3s. The Pacers added Kareem Rush & Travis Diener who are both good long ball shooters. The Pacers have a lot of talent on the roster. For all the people who bash Tinsley, he was a key element on the Pacers team that went 61-21 during the 03-04 season and made it to the eastern conference finals. If everybody stays healthy, the Pacers can make the playoffs.
