Canada has some competitive teams. They win against good teams every year.
Many NCAA experts have always said the best teams in Canada could be low to mid level teams in high-major conferences.
I remember last season that UBC was pushing to eventually join the NCAA. I'm not sure how that's going now.
Simon Fraser used to be NAIA. Aside from a few studs, the difference between a good Canadian team or a good Division two or three team versus a Division One program is minimal anyways.
Size and athleticism is the difference.
