We used OUR draft pick to get a good center, let's then give him big minutes, Miller is over the hill, let him be a teacher in the practices and pre season.

Insidehoops, it would be nice to get your opinion too.

Personally, I think BM can be a solid 12/9/4 type of player if he's in the right system and is complemented well. He needs to be next to a double digit rebounder who scores in the post primarily.

As for his future on the Kings, I it depends on the system Theus runs. If its a run and gun system, BM will be on his way out. If they run the Princeton, why not try running it through BM?

I think Brad Miller can still play but he was hurt last season so that kind of derail him. If he can't fit into the system the new coach has then you should trade him.

I agree with you, we should trade him.

But I doubt that happens because he has zero upside right now.

Miller's contract is too bad to move him now. Maybe in an expiring deal later on. On another note, I've heard on KHTK that Brad is in the best shape in years, now that he's healthy.

I heard a few years ago that he wished to end his career near his home, so I am wondering when this contract expires, after the 08-09 season I believe, will he go there? In the meantime let's let Hawes be the center.

We'll Theus did challenge Brad to get in better shape if he expected big minutes.

Hopefully, Brad got the idea.

If we have an reincarnated Brad alongside a double-double K9, we should make the playoffs.

A line up of BM/K9/Artest/Martin/Bibby isn't all that bad. Thats a pretty talented starting lineup. With decent backups like Salmons, Garcia, Hawes, and Shakur we could be all right this season.

I would have taken Keon Clark over him any day. Why do the Kings love to be non-athletic? I can't believe they didn't protect Gerald when the Bobcats were set to pick their players. That move has come back to bite them in the ass badly. The only athletic players we had were Bobby Jackson who just lost it, Webber who lost it too and Keon who we had to trade like retards. Get this guy out of here. Not to mention, we pick another non-athletic big center? This isn't the 90s anymore. Times are changing. Trade Bibby to Cleveland while at it because I can't watch my favorite player rot in a team that has failed miserably.

It's a HUGE stretch to say that K9 will post a double-double. Unless you're talking about double digit turnovers and missed shots. In that case, yeah, K9 will have a lot of double-doubles.

I think Miller will have an average year. It's hard to imagine him as a rebounding force because he just doesn't put forth the effort. He can have an impact on the offensive end though, with his touch passing and good shot selection.
