Point 1.....I agree somewhat. But look at the Lakers....they won 3 and Kobe and Shaq hated each other. You really think anyone on the Bulls "liked" Rodman? They liked his game even though he was a huge distraction.

2. The same team Kidd got his first year went to the finals with virtually the same squad Marbury had. I know you don't think they have underachieved last year when 2 of their starting frontline missed almost the whole season.

What was Phx record the year AFTER Marbury got traded and Nash stepped in? Once again Marbs played with most of the core that's there now.

i dont like when people say when marbury leaves a team the team gets better. thats not true. what happen to the t-wolves when he left, when he left they were still losing in the first round entil they got cassel and sprewell. when he was on the nets, richard jefferson wasnt there kenyon martin wasnt the same, kerry kittles and van horn was injured most of the time. so he was basically by him self. and in phonix they played a whole different system. amare was a rookie, barbosa wasnt the same player. it was basically a different lineup at the time. he seriously gets unfair treatment. the guy plays his butt of but people always want to bash him. maybe its because people dont like his personality, maybe people would like for him to be more of a humble individual, i dont know but he will always be one of my favorite players.

People want to see Marbury make his teammates better.

Great PG's do it all the time.

Good pg's do it usually.

Injuries are a coop. You will have them.

NJ is a prime example. They suffered blows to an already weak frontline and still made the playoffs.

Now we going from Marbury to injuries.

But here is your answer...Nenad was a 17/7 guy in the front gone for last season and probably this one.

RJ missed half the season. That two of the starting five. Them two alone cost them about 35 points and about 15 boards. They already have a weak bench.

And my point is they still made the plaoffs.

Before the Knicks players started dropping were they leading the division? Or even have a winning record?

I knew this point would have someone saying something that would annoy me. First of all how can you guarantee Kidd would give us a title? That's just being a Marbury ***** and a Kidd lover with no validity to your point. How can you make a statement like that? Kidd doesn't have a title with a way better roster now so what grounds do you have to say the guy can take us to the promise land beyond the fact that you agree with the majority and hate Marbury?

The fact is that Steph's teams did better after him because they urgraded personnel and got healthy. In NJ, Marbury NEVER player with vince or RJ who are the teams best to players. He played with Kerry Kittles who was always injured and a Stephen Jackson fresh off the streets. When he got to PHX he didnt get to play with Q and Raja Bell and a more mature Amare. He got a Rookie Amare and Casey Jacobsen as his 2 and Jake Voskuhl as his C. Not to mention the fact that they had to play SA in the 1st round.

As for his assists, those 8 apg he was getting along w/ his 20+ points was something only one other person in the history of the league managed to do. And @ least 3 times he was top 3 in assists.

As for Phoenix that team has a lot of the same players they have now.

Once again the PG's job is to make their "team" better.

Kidd's Nets have never been healthy. But they seem to always be there.

And amazingly as much as people think the Knicks would win it all with Kid and they got more talent than the Nets, why have the Nets demolished the Knicks ever since Kidd has been there?

i agree 100 percent. marbury plays his butt of but people always have somethin negative to say. not only does he plays his butt off he is one of the toughest players in the league. but people want to say all this b.s about him.

what u have to realize is that this is a team game. the nets have had better teams because they had more chemistry. the knicks have never had that. what u have too realize is if a team dont have chemistry u wont win many games. and when marbury was on the nets and phonix that wasnt virtually the same team.

LOL.....Kidd went to the finals with the same squad Marbs had his first year in NJ. How 's that possible? Kidd is a real PG. If Marbury played sg his whole career, we would not have this convo.
