Default Anybody still want to tell me that Magloire has no trade value?

Nene signs for $60 million
Wallace signs for $60 million
Mohammed signs for $30 million
Przybilla signs for $30 million

And now there are no centers left on the market. No more Hawks or Grizzlies fans saying "we'll just sign so and so for a quarter of his price." The past 24 hours have reaffirmed what I've been saying since the new board opened up - that average or better centers in the NBA have a ton of value, and teams have no choice but to pay the price they require. Fans here think that every single center in the league is over-paid, but GM's know better.

So now we've reached a point where Magloire is the only option left at center, and there are still several NBA teams that don't have one. Who still thinks he's undesireable?

Agreed. Centers are overpaid but if a team weren't willing to pay the big bucks another team is more then will to pay up.

And Magloire is the best out of them, except for Ben obviously.

Why, as a Bucks fan, do you want to move Mags so much? Bogut is more of a high post type of big man, much like former Buck standout Jack Sikma, and Mags gives you a guy inside that will rebound and make easy baskets off of the hi/lo game w/Bogut.

Id just keep him and hope to re-sign him this summer.

I just can't get warm with Magloire. I don't see the point of this player. Granted, he might get you some rebounds and points, but that's not what I'm looking for in a player. I want a presence, and Magloire doesn't deliver there.

Edit: Should be "not what I'm looking for in a center", of course.

Jamal Magloire made the all-star team and held his own. There are a few teams out there who are willing to take him and pay him.

Because Bogut really isn't a PF. He's not quick enough to guard PF's, and that rediculous game he had against the Suns showed that he's at his best when passing out of the low post. Larry Harris wants to surround Bogut with four shooters (and he has), and I'd like to see what that brings about.

I wouldn't mind a trade like that, which brings us a great defender. Our team is overloaded with scorers, and we need to bolster our defense. Before the porno incident, Hassell + Griffen would have been perfect. Now, I'm not sure what other piece I could hope for from the Wolves. Other guys that I'd like are Childress, or Marquis Daniels.

Griffin's an expiring contract. You can just waive him and make us send you a 2nd rounder (and it'll probably be a good one).

I'd do a Al for Jamal M deal if it could get done.... Al likes to shoot jumpers and has improved his range this past year and Jamal would help Atlanta by giving them a vet up front.

Milwaukee just traded for Villanueva. I'm not sure they'd still be interested in Harrington. Though, depth usually doesn't hurt anyone...
