Vietnam was the biggest waste of life in American history. It saddens me to meet people who lost someone over there. Dead for nothing.

Then they wouldn't be "terrorists" , they would be soldiers. The anti-western Arabs and Muslim fundamentalists are too weak and cowardly to ever do this. Last time a bunch of Arab nations with the help of the USSR tried to pick a fight with a tiny little non-Arab nation, they got their asses handed to them in six days. Simply put, the people of that region do not make good soldiers.

what an ignorant statement. wars are won with money and technology, not the strength of foot soldiers.

I didn't read any of this thread prior to posting this, so excuse me if I am repeating.

The way I see our country is like this. We are that kid who always wants to do right and correct everything and everyone else (Superboy , jk.) Sooner or later, we are gonna get our asses handed to us for getting in everyone elses business.

of course

by his constant chant of al qaeda-saddam-wmd-al qaeda-saddam-wmd,
most of us lined right up to invade iraq in order to fight terrorism

ironically, this quagmire to has been used to recruit more people around the globe against the usa

we had spent all the global goodwill that 9-11 had brought and now, most countries do not trust anything we do

thank you w, dick c, and rummy et al.
