Default Question about the Mitsubishi Eclipse

I'm looking at the Mitsubishi Eclipse, the Spyder to be specific. Is this car considered a girls car? For anyone that owns/owned one, did you like it?

I heard they're hard to drive. They look like nice cars, but I don't want to get a car that's considered a girls car. My next door neighbor had the red one from 2002 or 2003. He's a guy, but he fixed it up. Tinted windows, new stereo system, modified the engine.

I actually like the models from 4-5 years ago better than today's. Is it like that with all Japanese cars, or just Mitsubishi? I have a Chevy, along with my parents, and we never have problems with the cars.

It all really depends on how well you maintain them.

I had 91' Yota pickup (stock) 310,000 miles when I sold it, still running to this day.

I can't afford it right now. When the real estate market goes back to normal, I'm going to buy real estate with one other person, fix it up, and sell it. If you do it correctly, you'll be a millionaire in two years.

As far as the car, I like the red ones. Nothing wrong with the silver ones, but red is nicer. No wonder when they sell Corvettes, red is always high in demand.

A lot of the tuners around here tell me the Cobalt SS is a great platform to build off of.

if you are ever in doubt about something is for the opposite gender, the chances are that it is made for the opposite gender.

Yes, eclipses are basically girl cars. That was the first thing i thought when I read the topic. You should get a 1991 honda accord. They are sick. I'll sell you mine for $5,000, you won't find a better deal than that.
