All 11 dice were stolen but 3.

Pretty lame. You are on point MLH, the classes she has are way overbooked. Not enough desks, the kids can't take their books home b/c they don't bring them back. Last night she finally came to the realization she can't be a superhero and change these kids like she expected. She's called many of their parents... most of which couldn't give a sh*t. School to the parents is nothing more than a current babysitter.

sounds like that one movie that came out a few months ago, i cant remember the name, but the one where that lady actress is a teacher at that bad school in cali and she turns around the class, etc, etc.

I saw that movie

It was actually based off a true story, I do believe (if we have the same movie in mind, that is)

If you want to make good money and have decent hours, the place to do it is in sales. If you have the personality it's a no brainer. I know people who sell insurance, full comission, and they bring in $100K per year working 30 hours a week. If you know a lot of people, sales is sweet. Commission is scary for some people but it's where you make your money. Plus, talk of Hedge Fund manager's etc is pointless. You need to have serious eduction/contacts/experience to get involved in that world. Most companies don't even look at someone now without an honors degree in business at a major post secondary school. If you want to walk into a career with no past experience/education......sell stuff.

good points. I would agree (already have in fact). Sales are where it is at to be a lazy schmo who makes some bank (gotta have good product and personality).

It's untapped. Some many people bust their balls working 50 hours a week for $30K. In Canada anyway, almost any bank/insurance/auto insurance company will hire someone with a good market and good personality who isn't a complete idiot. You can walk in and easily bank $50K in your first year. You just have to be able to look beyond commission as a negative.
