The funniest trade idea is Odom and Bynum for O'Neal. lol that would hurt the team. Bynum will be better than O'Neal in a few years and he hasn't shown any injury problems and Odom is pretty much as effective as O'Neal and much more versatile. The Lakers get worse now and have no future. Kupchak already has ruined any chance the team has at being a contender now by trading Butler for Brown.

It is lopsided in the Lakers favour.
Since when was Biedrins a good post defender? And anybody can get rebounds when you're playing in the Warriors system. Biedrins is an amazing fantasy basketball player meaning you can see great stats on the box score. But he's a really crappy player. Utterly useless. He is NOT a good post defender. Just because he blocks a lot of shots, it doesn't mean he's a good post defender.

very funny that a lakers fan (not the OP) is *****ing about lue after having put up with Smush the last two years. Whats the pg rotation right now, fisher (combo guard which works well in the triangle - which they dont really play anymore since kobe freelances and doesnt play his role in the triangle all that often anymore) and farmar?

why trade at all?

Fisher/Farmar/Crittenton
Bryant/Evans
Walton/Radman/Odom
Odom/Cook/Brown
Bynum/Mihm

I like that team- particulary if bynum, walton, brown, Crittenton, develop and Radman plays to potential.

Your owners love to gamble and the players going to the Sacramento Kings would probably fit in to Reggie Theus's style. Vladimir Radmanovic would fit pretty nicely with the Sacramento Kings as well as Jordan Farmar. Furthermore, they get a nice decent big man in Marc Gasol and a first rounder??? It's a win-win deal for both teams.

Lamar Odom would fit in better with the Detroit Pistons and Rasheed Wallace would fit in perfectly with the Triangle Offense.

It's a win-win situation. Both teams benefit from these trades.

The lakers had it going last year before injury struck. If Bynum and others continue to improve, that is a nice veteran/youth mix.

Why would they trade Bynum for Lue and Zaza when they havent pulled the trigger on deals for Kidd and JO.

The Warriors trade is also absurd.

Here's something that needs to be addressed. The Los Angeles Lakers can't just trade Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum for Jason Kidd or Jermaine O'Neal because more contracts would be needed to make the trade work. The teams who are potential trading partners don't want the throw in contracts. The respective teams might be asking for too much which is why the deals don't go down.

Zaza Paculia is a decent big man and Tyronn Lue is a decent passer and defender. He has Triangle Offense.

The Golden State Warriors trade is not absurd.

Ronny Turiaf would do well for the Golden State Warriors if he got the same amount of minutes that Andris Biedrins got last season. Furthermore it seems like the Golden State Warriors are trying to get below the cap since they traded away Jason Richardson. Kwame Brown and Ronny Turiaf would help them in a position which was sorely needed and their contracts would be appealing as well since they both expire after the 2007-2008 season.

bro save that lame reason for someone who doesn't know basketball bro...

I dnt care what "good reason" you give me, Their is nooooooo reason in the world that could explain having SPACE CADET on your squad and saying "he would fit."

That guy is a loser, we dnt want him on our team. He cant even crack the rotation where you have guys like Evans SMUSH and Cook on the team??? GEES! He has pathetic written all over him. Farmar would be ok but he's nothing special at all. Douby can be w.e he is, or can be ALOT better imo.

Marc Gasol????? lol please bro take it easy. We have Hawes anyway (a LOTTO pick)

Yes our owners love to gamble but their not idiots and they still hate the lakers period.

The deal that Mitch had on the table was Odom for Bibby and our owners SQUASHED THAT
