Default How do you guys feel about aquiring AK

I know earlier in the year i proposed a trade sending Brad and Salmons for AK.

What are you guys trades and would you want him on the squad

Well he has a 60 million contract over the next four or five years, we certainly do not want to send our best players in return for one player.

I say if he wants to return to play for Russia, let him, he alone knows what he wants to do.

I'm for it, although it may leave a huge gap at the center position.

When a team is in a bad position like and without much of a few future plan in place, why not make a trade to get more talent?

But why would Utah do it? They already have a a slow footed center who'd rather shoot outside shots than go inside?

well that was a proposal when i had when Booz was down i was thinking maybe their st lineup could look like this

Brad
Okur
Harp
Salmons
Deron...at that point in time

but now a more lucrative deal would be Bibby to cavs Ak to Kings Hughes Etan to Utah and Gooden to Wash

Thats an interesting deal but I'm not sure if the Jazz would want an injury risk like Hughes; then again, AK isn't all that valuable.

Kings running with who at PG though? Shakur? Douby?

No, because AK's contract is huge, and we will be able to dump Bibby and Miller in the next couple years, while AK will be unmovable.

Well if Miller plays a good game this year, we maj just keep him, he is in fantastic shape and if that works out to his playing to his capabilites, that would be fantastic.

I was just reading in one of West Sac's papers that Miller lost 25 lbs and Artest lost 20!

Well I think you might have meant the Sacramento Bee, where the article appeared, and I think it said Artest has lost 14 pounds.

So we shall see how things pan out this year, it sounds like from what I have been reading that the coach will play the players according to their abilities and will not yank them around like the previous coach.

The pre season should be a good indication of our capabilities, depending on what players play for the opposition ( first teams) or the one's trying to make the team.

Nope, I was reading the West Sac Press or the Ledger.
