doubt any of those would go down in their current format...
-its unilkely the nuggets will find another taker for K-Mart so i'd say its 50% chance that K-Mart for Francis will happen by next season (dumb deal for knicks as it adds two more years to their cap purgatory)
-as stated West wouldn't want marbury, francis or crawford (given their current contracts) but I think Marbury as a scoring guards to go alongside Gasol who I just can't see ever getting beyond 20ppg would be quite effective.
-finding expiring contracts for literally ANY of their players - outside 'the rookies' - would be a good thing for the Knicks or even just shortening the length of contracts on their books... for instance packing Jerome James $6 million 4 years with Mo Taylor $10 million 1 year for Chris Webbers $18 million 2 years would be about a wash for the knicks in terms of total salary paid but it would bring them closer to being under the cap earlier. Of course the Sixers wouldn't do that deal but it is an example of one type of trade to reduce their long term cap hole.
