If that's the comparison, he's a bust.

I noticed that too, the video is quite old.

Anyways we spent quite alot of money on his buyout so I guess we won't have alot of MLE left. Arg Battier better start practicing playing PF.

I hate Greek names.

Uh, why so?

Anyways, he's a good penetrator, handler and middle range shooter, but his long range shot and defense need improvement. His play is nothing like Bryant's though. Much closer to Parker's.

Let me clear a few things up real quick...

- Apparently his nickname is Kill Bill because Vasillis = William = Bill (for short) and he's got a "killer" instinct on the court. Take that, throw in the fact that there's a couple of movies by the name, and you get Kill Bill. I don't really dig it though.

- The Rockets hardly spent anything on the guy. Between 5 and 6 million over 3 years, which figure to about 1.7 million off the MLE + $400k for the buyout of his contract. That means they have roughly 3.4 million left on the MLE, but CD was just on the radio and said that they are looking at trades more than anything else. I forget what the source was, but there has been a rumor of picking up Kyle Korver in a trade using the 4.2 million Trade Exception. That, in my opinion, would be a hell of a steal.

- John Lucas III has NOT been signed yet, so I don't know where that info is coming from. It was mentioned during the CD radio interview that the VSpan signing doesn't effect their pursuit of JL3 and that they would still like to add him to the roster.

- CD is on crack if he thinks VSpan is a mix of Kobe Bryant and Tony Parker. I think a more fair comparison (in style, not necessarily talent) would be something like Sarunas Jasikevicius + Manu Ginobili.

Lo Wright might be a nice add at power forward. Otherwise they should be concentrating on Reggie Evans.

Yeah, I was wondering because I read that Denver is really going after him.
