no, there's too much talent in the west. every team that made the playoffs last year looks to be contending again, and there's still teams like HOU, GS and NOK and even the Jazz that have the potential to break thru. only 8 spots. its doubtful. in the east they'd def. make it.
I'm trying to improve myself. I'm the new, better Jerm

If KG is good as they say, then this Wolves team should atleast make the playoffs. Kobe took that crappy Laker squad to the playoffs last year, no reason KG shouldn't be able to carry this team.

They need a center first, then they might have a chance. But as of right now almost everyone else in the West is improving and Mike James and Randy Foye won't be able to make up for all the losses they had last season. And they dont have many pieces to trade for another center either, other then maybe Blount and Jaric who are both overpaid, or Griffin who just has problems.

last time any western team succeeded with a true center was shaq and the lakers.
