That was then, this is now. They have a total mish-mash of talent, and they will get drubbed. Lucky if they get 35 wins.

Randy Foye is not as good as Ben Gordon IMO.

Mike James played well in his contract year, but is by no means a point guard.

Ricky Davis is like:

if cassell was healthy, wolves woulda won the championship.
I totally agree with this and only fatigue would have stopped them beating Detriot. The Wolves were terribly unlucky on three fronts in that series:

1. The refs were sh1t to them
2. Cassell's injury
3.

An absolute scrub (he was just waived by the worst team in the league!) lit them up with 6 treys. Damn unlucky.

I remember Phil said that was a career game for Rush.

He was right.

Best game he will ever have in his career.

But he was on - he nailed those shots. He won that game for the Lakers.

i cant even name a laker bench player and your tellin me itll be better then foye, griffin(who sucks but is an alright low post defender)?

and when did mccants move to pg?

and when did james get cut?

Wolves absolutely needed a scoring PG, thats what cassell was. He avg'd 20 and 7 with us and James did 20 and 6 last year. You need that kind of player to play with KG since both can shoot, and if you play a high pick and roll game with them and with the slasher/athletic scorer that you get from Davis, i think we'll be good enough for the playoffs.

Plus James is a 3 pt. threat which we lost when Szczerbiak left

I think I recall Rush scoring 30 one time for the Bobcats.

Should be

CT: Blount (argh)/ Griffin (argh)
PF: Garnett/ Madsen
SF: Hassell/ ?
SG: Davis/ Foye
PG: James/ Jaric/ Hudson (ARGH!)

The back up for Hassell will hopefully be Justin Reed if they can somehow get him back. As of now it's... Eddie Griffin? WTF!

Not that crazy. Spree played pretty well for us. What has Ricky done that's so special? Popped his collar and f'd up a win?

Got knocked off by an old Laker squad???

One of the dumbest statements in a while. Payton was still quality, Kobe was a top 3 guard (and still is), Shaq was still in his prime IMO, and Malone was still decent. Plus they had Devean George who was actually playing good for them.

IMO they should go small and play davis at the 3.
and they should try trading mccants or jaric for a big.
maybe mccants/2nd round pick for robert swift
