The guy is 6'9", 230 and has a good post game...what is so bad about him playing PF? I'm sure he won't spend all of his minutes at PF.

Positions are about who you can defend not what you can do. Although, he can't defend SF's either so maybe it's the right move.

A liiiittle early, my friend. Detroit is still a playoff lock. They just have a lot more competition for the Eastern Conference Championship. In 2 or 3 years they will be truly irrelevant though, getting very old and whiny.

Yeah Amir Johnson has star potential, Jason Maxiell looks like he will be a good player, Rodney Stuckey could be good too and Tayshaun Prince is still young. Rip is only about 29 so he should be around for a long time too.
