The Trueman Show is a great flick. I don't know why, but many critics did not like Butterfly Effect. I thought it was wonderful.

Which ending though? The one where he sees her in the streets of NYC and they walk right by each other or the one where he ends killing himself in the womb before he can create the chain of events that ruins everyone?

I think I've only seen the one? The one where he walks by her in NYC.

once upon a time in the west and amadeus are awesome flicks. 2001 was good but i didn't really get it.

my top five would have to include caddyshack and stripes but i think randy puts a bit more thought into his movie selection than i do.

A little late. lol

5. Night of the Hunter

Before I saw this movie, I wouldn't have thought they made weird **** like this back in 1955. Manages to send a blunt message as well.

4. Gilda

Sexiest role ever? Probably. Great acting. George Macready and Glenn Ford are cool cats.

3. From Here To Eternity

My favorite war film of all time. Only a small battle scene (if you can call it that) at the end, but the acting by Montgomery Clift, Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra, Donna Reed and Deborah Kerry is amazing.

2. LotR: Return of the King

The epitome of epicness. Did the book justice.

1. Vertigo

The entire movie is simply the best and Stewart is my favorite actor of all time, but the last 20-30 minutes make up the greatest ending to a movie ever captured on film by far. One of the few movies to truly leave my feeling strange after watching it. Makes you feel downcast while at the same time thinking "Wow, I want to watch that again."
