More skilled? Maybe. Surely less athletic.
The fact Bynum is less polished doesn't mean he can't improve in 1-2 years and became dominant at, say, 24.
For sure he is not a lock to became so, but the chance is definetely there.

That depends on your definition of dominant. I think Yao Ming's done just fine with his brand of domination. He may not send defenders through the hoop, ala Shaq style, but nobody can block his turn around jumper either. 25/10/2. Good enough to earn him the #1 NBA center label.

Bynum's got a lot of polishing up to do before he gets anywhere near that level. There's a lot more to basketball than being a muscle head.
