Default The Official Glove_20 Guide

This thread is for our returning champion: Glove_20.

The purpose is to record his stupid statements, faulty logic, hyping, horribly obvious tactics, ridiculous excuses, and other things related or associated to Preet.

Every entry should be numbered because it will aid in Glove's biography, entitled, "A Day in the Glove: A World of Flowers and Fairies." Which is rumored to have a introduction by the infamous Hawker

I'll start:

1. Glove said, "Yao>KG." Claimed to be joking, but still said "Yao=top 3"

2. My Lab Partner wrote that.

3. Perkins = Big Ben

Within 2 minutes of the #3, Glove goes "theres a 65% chance that he gets 8 rpg." From Perkins=Big Ben, to that.

Glove's ridiculous hyping and overrating of every player he has but only when he has them is ridiculous.

4. Glove claims to forget a former "story" he told us once, immediately after being called out on it, he resorts to "I am the CHAMP"

Um, most of what BigBoi said was not true, he just misunderstood.

With that said, anyone needs any Fantasy Help, ask here, or PM me. I am the best.

1. I say Yao is Top 5. He really is. But WHEN healthy. See what I mean, BigBoi misunderstood and missed the "when" healthy

2. Kendrick Perkins is a sleeper, he has the potential to be a Big Ben. Another misunderstanding by the thread creator

But if anyone needs tips, just ask me.

Yao is generally underrated, and grab Perkins if you can, he is good at rebounds and blocks

So the story goes, for being the defending champ player glove feels he needs an advantage....so we politely respect his wishes and he gets to choose any pick in the draft. Here's what he picks.

Here's my reply

If someone asked me which pick don't you want before the draft, I'd say I sure as hell don't want the 7th pick

Here's a summary of what happened for 20 pages of completely being owned

Quote:
What Glove has been up to lately:

=Begs to get a handicap by picking his draft spot, league obliges. He chooses he picks.

=Pushes for the pick randomization to be done asap after annoucing that he wants the 7th slot.

=Watches everyone make trades and expose their strategy, while doing nothing but watching. Teams get really good while Glove's chances of repeating look bleak.

=So he b!tches some more and (for some reason) league lets him reset all picks.

=After learning everyone's strategies and plans, he now wants to choose a another pick.

And this guy claims he will win because of his "great manager skills"

And plus, since we did draft order all over, I don't see one good reason why I can't re-chose my pick.

after saying no

what happened in the end.....glove chooses a random pick, because he now realizes what a moron he is for choosing #7 the best pick in the draft.

6. Glove says, "Gerald green is going to really good this season" and hypes him up. Later that day he drops him.

New entry:

GLove: "JRich will get at least 25 PPG, he will get 27/6/5 and 3 threes"

All this because of MJ's advice

I've got a dude like this in all of my fantasy leagues.... he loves the hype up and dump strategy. It's not basketball but he picked up Orlando Hudson and tried to trade him straight up for Chone Figgins.... those of you who follow baseball will know what I'm saying. Hell people that know next to nothing about baseball would probably know it's a joke of deal.

Don't follow baseball, but I've heard of Orlando Hudson. Chone Figgins, on the otherhand, sounds too similar to Chode. I wouldn't trade.

Perkins is a starter now, and an excellent rebounder and shot blocker.

7/9/2.5bpg should be expected...

I know what I am talking about Kumquat. I don't have Perkins for his ppg. He is like a Ben Wallace to me, I only have him for his contributions to rebounds and blocks.

i'll add a little foot note to that, Dalembert did have a stress fracture in his foot. So he will be putting up 0/0/0 meaning Perkins will be a lot more like Dalembert than we think.

13. Bargnani sucks. Shouldn't even be considered top 75.

14. Billups was garbage in 06-07.
