To all you Giant fans on this board, you guys are gonna lose this one. Gore is gonna break out and if Alex Smith plays and is somewhat healthy, I don't see us losing this game.

By the way, do you remember the game we played in the playoffs, 2005 iirc. When the Niners made one of the greatest comebacks to win the game. Well guess what you guys aren't getting revenge.

What are they going to win?

They are an up coming team and in a few years if they keep drafting well and signing some FA's they will be in a position to make some noise.

Right now the only noise they are making is the expelling of unwanted gaseous byproducts for a certain orifice.

The Giants are beatable, they are a slightly better than a middle of the pack team. Just because they beat the Falcons it doesn't mean anything because the Falcons helped by beating themselves with 6 or 7 dropped passes, some for first downs. By the end of the game they were tired and beaten.

Right now we are better than the niners, that's just the cold hard facts. Baring injuries the Giants should beat the niners by 17 points.

I live out here in the Bay Area and I have the godforsaken pleasure of watching the awful Niners and Raiders on a weekly basis (except when I am lucky enough to catch a NFC/AFC East game because one or both teams out here didnt sell enough tickets and get blacked out of local TV). Anyway, having watched these Niners I am willing to bet the ranch that the G Men beat the Niners easily. This Niners team has decent players and a good D but the offensive playcalling is even worse than Jim Fassel's old playbook. They cant trip into a first down let alone march a consistent drive into the endzone.

Lets make a bet: NYG win you change your Avatar to Charles Smith, Niners win and Ill change mine to joe Montana .

The Giants are going to make the Niners look like the Falcons did Monday night. Gore is going to get shut down. I hope Smith plays so there are no excuses.

Logically speaking, Niners have a low chance to win. If Alex Smith starts, it will be his first game back since the Seahawks game and Gore hasn't been able to explode for a big game yet. And I could see Osi impregnating our QB because our line has looked terrible.

But something tells me the Niners will win this game. Maybe it's just my homerism speaking, but Clements will do a good job on Burress and I don't see Taylor Jacobs doing much against us. Should be low scoring game, unless the Niners offense is terrible.
