this is something from yesterday or today. not his car accident last summer.

this isnt the first time he's gotten in trouble this preseason. he had to apologize to the team last week for going crazy in practice.

Of all the times for Smith to do something stupid, why now when there's a guy playing as well/better than him who's dying for a chance just to play and is gonna come cheap as dirt?

He's done in Denver, and I'd be amazed if they get more than a 2nd rounder and some cash for the kid.

the official word from Denver's front office source....

Quote:
JR's suspension resulted from an off-the-court incident of bad behavior that we aren't suposed to talk about. I'm not really clear on what it was, only that it was not a Karl decision to suspend him, rather an Front Office decision.

Our Front Office really wants JR to get it. They have not given up on him. But they won't let things slide just because there is an upside in potential trade value.

JR is not really a distraction to this team like you might expect. The Cambys, Iversons, Kmarts and Melos just shake their head at him, move on and do their jobs.

.

proves that he is stupid, could become a very talented scorer if he would put his mind to it

A 2nd rounder? That's a little harsh, there are still a few teams that can use him. Indiana, Orlando....maybe Cleveland.

Looks like the Bulls front office knew EXACTLY what they had on their hands with JR.

they traded for him (great to trade for someone you apparently know is a moron), then turned around and traded him for less value that they could have gotten. (Even now, with him being an ass he has more trade value than they got for him).

What the bulls did there that is impressive is lost on me.

No. They traded away Chandler to make room for Ben Wallace. Wether that was smart is debatable, but JR was a throw in with PJ, who came of the books soon.

It looks like they have a magical crystal ball that is why they predict the future of Jr Smith.

In fairness that is actually a very good trade in favor of the Denver Nuggets because they acquired a young SG that can fit perfectly on George Karl's System.

The reason that the nuggets wants to trade him is because of his attitude problem, and he is the reason that melo and company has been suspended because he overreact on that foul of Mardy Collins.

If Melo and him are not suspended the Nuggets would have been a top 4 team in the Eastern Conference, and Melo would be the current NBA Scoring Champion.

JR Smith is a talented player but he is a head case and that is one of the reason the Hornets traded him to the Bulls in the first place.

I'm not going to say this little incident is the nail in his coffin but you have to wonder when two teams (Charlotte and Bulls) trade someone that obviously physically talented for nothing.

well its no big loss for us. we gave away two 2nd rounders that were never going to make our squad for JR. if it doesnt work out then it doesnt work out.

its disappointing because he was going to be used as an offensive spark off the bench but i guess we have Chucky Atkins for that now.

Again before you speak bad on the Nuggets , lets look at the Sac Kings... Ron Artest(say nomore) and the latest story:

SACRAMENTO (AP) -- Sacramento Kings reserve center Justin Williams and his girlfriend had consensual sex with the woman who is accusing him of sexual assault, his attorney said Saturday
