Re: What did J.R. do this time? Nugz suspend Smith for first 3 games of season
I just like the rest of you don't know what happened but I think you guys have to also remember the guy is 22 years old and had a close friend die in a car accident in which he was driving. Hopefully someone will give JR the help he needs before he drifts into Eddie Griffin territory.

According to Denver County Court records, Smith has been issued a summons to appear in court to answer to allegations of destruction of private property, disturbing the peace and assault in an incident at DC-10 lounge at 940 Lincoln on Oct. 13.
The case was filed Wednesday. Police received calls at 1:40 a.m. on Oct. 13.
"There was a disturbance and a fight and a call for an ambulance," said Lt. Ron Saunier, spokesman for the Denver Police Department.

Our Front Office really wants JR to get it. They have not given up on him. But they won't let things slide just because there is an upside in potential trade value.
JR is not really a distraction to this team like you might expect. The Cambys, Iversons, Kmarts and Melos just shake their head at him, move on and do their jobs.
MELO shaking his head at him? Right, cause Melo is the beacon of good citizenship and behavior.

I say I hope someone reaches out to the guy and gives him the help that Eddie Griffin never received and you bring up assault allegations?!

I guess that is the best answer so far concerning the original thread question "What did JR do this time?"
