I tell you what, I wouldn't be suprised at all. Al is a beast.

He's the only other rook who can push Durant for the award. And I mean the ONLY one.

Could be, I like Thornton a lot, dude can really fill it up.

I'm stickin with the superstar that will be Durant though. His offensive skillset is pure money already. He's also the go-to guy so he'll get his share of minutes and shots.

a lot of teams passed on him because he's 23.......i didnt quite get that.

its funny how 15 years ago the 23 year old would always go before the 20 year old.

I think it will be Jeff Green...They are looking over this kid, but I think he will be the most efficient player on the Sonics roster.

A tweener sf/pf. great athlete, versatile scorer, can get to the line, can finish around the basket pretty well. Drafted by the clipps with the 15th pick I think, hes 23 years old but has a lot of room to get better.

Ugly but effective. The guy is great at attacking the basket and has nice range. Durant and Green will be an effective 1-2 punch when they gain chemistry and experience. Look for the Sonics to win 30-38 games this year. They could be a surprise team to make the playoffs if teams like the Hornets, Clipper, Warriors, or Lakers struggle.

Green is one of my favorite rookies but i dont know about ROY especially with the number of shots Durant will no doubtedly be putting up. IF only the Sixers would have taken AL Thorton but who knows only time will tell how the Thad Young pick will end up.

It's pretty much a done deal with Durant winning it. He has complete freedom with the Sonics, and as long as he scores the most out of all the rookies, regardless of percentage/rebounds/assist, he will get.
