Having Dwight Howard out there will ensure you have a good shooting lineup? lol.

They haven't improved. They're weak on the boards (besides Howard). They don't have any offensive target as of right now because Lewis is looking like a mistake already (don't tell me it's only pre-season either) because of injuries, their guard rotation is terrible, their front-line is terrible. The only place where this team is looking good is at the SF position, and even there, they're stacked with players who are talented but wont get court time. So how exactly have the Magic IMPROVED? please explain it to me because I don't see it.

I predict a better season than last year, but the No. 9 seed, because the East has significantly improved. I would say a record of... 42-40. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Orlando can make the playoffs and knock out one of those other teams that made it last year that hasn't improved (like Toronto).

I've always wondered why the Magic have had such trouble getting to the 4th, 5th, or even 6th spot at years end. On paper, they're an incredibly talented team. Hell, not just on paper. What am I thinking? They are a talented team. I've got a lot of respect for Orlando for taking Dwight Howard when they had a chance. Okafor this, Okafor that. No. Howard was the best option, I knew his potential, and I was impressed that Orlando recognized it as well. Nelson was a steal--Orlando should be thankful such a skilled player fell that low. Short, yes, we all know that..but he's definitely solid.

I mean, the Magic's roster has a lot of potential. Turkoglu, JJ, and Lewis all bring something to the table. So why is that they never seem to do much in the post season (ignoring Lewis in this case)? Well, that's a good question. I really don't know. Team chemistry maybe? Poor rebounding? Injury prone? A little bit of each, perhaps.

They are, more or less, the same team as last year. Few game-changing additions aside from Lewis. I can see the Magic landing a seventh seed.

50 wins... and if the back-up big men plays well... probably a 2nd round entry in the playoffs...
