Default scot pollard...what's gonna happen to him?

haven't heard or seen anything regarding him getting re-signed or even offered to re-sign. he's a decent rebounder/defender, but he was supposed to turn into their starting center back when they traded for him(dumb move). i don't really care if he goes somewhere else or not. what do u think?

i dont think they'll be signing him again, they have JO at center, then Foster and Harrington
no need for Pollard

Default The man known as Scot Pollard

Larry Bird & Donnie Walsh have been aquiring players who are good at playing an uptempo style. Pollard played really well in Sacramento's run n' gun system. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pacers re-sign him, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Pacers let him leave either.

well, when u look at the real reason why they got him in the 1st place, then yeah, u can say he hasn't done much. he was supposed to come to indy and become their starting center. he just hasn't played for indy like he had for the kings. he also is constantly nursing a bad back.

he is a decent defender and rebounder, but has absolutely no shooting skills at all. he has this funky one handed baseline shot he tries every now and then. it's horrendous. so far, he doesn't look like he's gonna fit in indy's new style of play so u may be seeing the last of pollard as a pacer.

I'm going to miss Scot and his various hair styles, but it seems like he isn't coming back to Indy. Last i heard he was trying to get back with the Kings!

"In their search for a big man backup, the Kings also considered Michael Olowokandi, Kelvin Cato and former King Scot Pollard. According to the Seattle Times, the Kings also had contacted the Sonics about a trade for 23-year-old Chris Wilcox."
