Default Somone made a mistake in the draft

I honestly think memphis should have gotten Javaris Critteton in the draft...since it seems they are like kyle for being a big point with potential...look at javaris way better potential then conely....Lakers 1 Memphis 0...see yall in the season...

Crittenton probably will be a good point guard, but I hope you don't mean to draft him at #4. Maybe they could've taken Noah at #4, and then traded back into the lottery, but with who? Lowry could possibly be expendable if they really wanted Crittenton, but this is one of those guys who wouldn't be around where you'd be comfortable taking him in the draft, and probably wouldn't be worth trading Lowry + Extra to get back into the lottery, which is the only place they could ensure getting him, as other teams may have him high on their board. Rodney Stuckey seems intriguing to me as well at 2 guard, but he's another guy that would take too much to get.

Crit would be nice to get, but he's not the end all be all for the Grizzlies. Conley should do just fine at point, and Crit may not develop into as good a player. Right now it's still 0, 0.

In this past draft.. number 4 pick used on Crittenton not a good move...

However with that said.. I do feel sad for Javaris that he wont be able to gain proper playing time with the lakers.. because I feel that with good development, J.Crite will be a stompin'ly nutzo point guard.. he is not the man, but I think in a hand full of years he may be...

Don't be fooled, it's just a troll trying to make laker fans look bad.

I mean, nobody is stupid enough to seriously suggest Javaris should've been taken at #4, right?

...

right?

do you really think Critte has more potential than Conley? Javaris is bigger and more athletic but I feel Conley has greater basketball IQ. Both are too young and will be very difficult for them to settle down in the league. Javaris should have more minutes during the next seasons (if the Kobe trade doesn't send a good PG to L.A.) because neither Vujcic nor Farmar have a lot of confidence from Phil Jackson, so he can be more productive in short term. However I see Mike with more chances to achieve better results in long term as he is surrounded by Damon (an established PG) and Mark Price in the coaching staff. But it is just my feeling.

On the other side, I don't know if it was a good decission to draft a PG having Kyle developing well. A big man was much more necessary and Noah was there. But at that point, Conley was the better player available and the one to be selected, IMO.

Right.

I like Crittenton, and I feel he could be a very good basketball player. nbadraft.net compared him to Steve Francis. I'm not sure he'll be that good, but maybe he could be a solid backup two-guard or a starting point. Could be a steal for the Lakers. And I do believe he has more potential, but Conley has a better chance to live up to his potential.

Oops sorry my monkey got on the comp....jk

Crit could be a very good player, but Conley was a safer bet at 4.

Conley may turn out to be a great pick yet. But only if he gets some major minutes to play this season. I don't know why they would use the 4th overall pick on someone to play third string. They need to trade Damon and let Conley and Kyle play starting guard.
