I agree with you 100% I Just can't see any other options available. If someone like Brevin Knight was available, and he may be, but for what price?
Isn't this a coincidence. I was just reading an article saying that Brevin Knight is going to be traded because Raymond Felton is stepping up in the system and 2 of the teams that were mentioned were Portland and Toronto.
#1 pick
#56 pick
2008 unprotected 1st round pick
eric williams
for
#3
emeka okafor
why? the bobcats can get who ever they want, and they get a future 1st rounder to continue to build their team around. what with emeka and all his injury issues, wouldnt they prefer to have a more entertaining (thomas) or more reliable player next season, and not have to sign anyone to a big extention for atleast another couple of years

I think this would be a great deal, but one that will never happen. Bobcats won't throw in the towel on Emeka this early by any stretch.

Haha. I was hearing for about the past week or so that he might want to get out of Charlotte but I didn't know how true it was. That's what put that idea in my head lastnight. I woke up today and read the same article your talking about. Maybe GM's and players are watching the boards...
I think that if BC wants to make this team small by Moving Bosh to C and Charlie to PF there may be a chance we draft Gay.
You also have to remember what BC said in his first interview after the draft. I watched the whole half an hour long interview and he said he is not caring most on what position they need to get, he just needs to draft the best player possible.
And "Chamberlain", I think players, officials, coaches and everyone should take a lesson from us....hey, maybe just hand us over the job and we'll do good with what we have. Hey, I wouldn't mind just bein an assistant for BC. He needs us bad. They need boards, we got them.
I cringe when I think of having a lineup with bosh at C.
Sure, our line-up would be extremely balanced (one or 2 backups at each position except SG), but that could lead to injuries for bosh due to the increased stress on his body.
