The Lakers can want whatever, but this is a buyers market. Since Kobe has a no trade clause that cant make the other team's cupboard bare. This is why you have to take JJ, Childress and Speedy. This is more than they got for Shaq.
Kobe would agree to the trade because he'd come to the Hawks where he would have a 20/10 guy in Josh Smith, a 17/7 guy in Marvin, and a young post stud in Horford, who will probably go 10/10 this year. Not to mention our bench has Zaza who is solid, a role player in Shelden Williams, a sharpshooter in Salim and Lue who he already knows from his championship days.
As far as crowd support....trust me if Kobe Bryant comes to town. He would be the biggest thing since Michael Vick. And this is the time for the Hawks to make a deal like this. The Braves suck, the Falcons suck, the Thrashers have had a bad start. They could be the saviors of the Atlanta sports scene. Phillips Arena would be Staples Center south, all of the celebrities who live here would be out...hell they came out when we stunk.
If Kobe goes to Chicago the best he could be would be second fiddle to Mike. They aren't going to build a Kobe statue in Chicago. If he comes to Atlanta they'd name the building after him.

I vote Kobe to Atlanta!
Not only that but he'd be in the same division with Shaq, where he could stick it to him every year.

A core of JJ, Kobe, Marvin, Zaza is nice. With Sheldon, Lue and Childress in the top 8.
Keep in mind that Lue and Kobe used to play together and are friendly.
