I won't keep Tyson. If I dealt Durant/Amare for a better keeper, I would keep Dwill, Smoove, Big AL and then the new stud (kobe etc).

You shouldn't worry about not getting blocks back Amare isn't a big blocker at all. He's alway hovered around 1-1.5blks. Kobe is easily top 3 in fantasy. Drop Diaw and pick up haywood if you have to make up for blocks. You should always try and trade for the better player rather than depth.

Kobe owner isnt having it.

Looks like I can do a Dirk/VC for Amare/Durant. I think this might be a good deal for me. Dirk is better then Amare in roto and VC is an upgrade on Durant this season anyway (buying low on VC). Might be able to switch Ray Allen for VC. Then my 4 keepers going into next year would be Dirk, Big Al, Dwill and Smoove. Basically all categories covered.

Nice idea. Also the direction of this thread is progressing nicely.

Dirk is top 5. Deron is climbing every week. Big Al and his $65 million contract says he is a big time keeper. JSmoove needs to talk lessons from whomever taught Jamal Crawford to pick his spots on the floor. Jamal has progressed into a mature reliable shooting guard.

VC also is a great assist man. I like the deal VC can be underrated at times.

After a few more weeks owners will know KD is for real. Durant is getting better every single game. I am starting to wonder why i didn't draft him.

With Amare getting hurt, the Dirk owner is now nervous.

He would still do VC for Durant straight up, but I don't think I would even do that at this point. I might be looking at this wrong...maybe I should keep Durant! I can deal Amare away potentially.

I am in discussion for Nash as well. Durant and Jameer for Nash. I don't think he's going to bite however. It would help me win this year and still leave me with my 4 keepers.

With all the offers coming...Durant definitely has a market!!!

I'm looking at present value as well as trade value.

Dirk....maintain this trade. Stay the line. Wait it out. Amare will play and blow up for a week or two....then strike. Dirk monster roto player.
Melo
VC
RayRay is a tier below. overpriced 3point specialist. Why did i draft him? I remember So that he can hit 7 tres a game . Still looking to trade him.

If the Dirk deal doesn't go down, then I am thinking the Melo deal would be nice. All of these offers are from the same GM. So he's standing pretty firm on the Amare/Drik part.

I might try and add Mike Miller and get 2 of his 3 (Ray, VC, Melo) in return. I think the foundation of his team is build on Dirk. So he will be hard to acquire for sure.

So, either a 1 for 1 of Durant for my choice of Melo, VC, Ray. Or potentailly a 2 for 2 of Durant/Mike Miller for Melo/Ray for example.

I can post my team:

PG Dwill
SG Mike Miller
G Kevin Durant
SF Josh Smith
PF Al Jefferson
F Richard Jefferson
C Amare Stoudamire
C Tyson Chandler
UTIL Jameer Nelson
UTIL Hedo Turk (waiver pickup)
UTIL Boris Diaw (drafted to offset risk of Amare)

Bench Stephen Jackson (will take a util spot when he's back)
Bench Mike Bibby (will take a util spot 2 months from now)

Its a 10 team roto league as mentioned with max games per position of 82. I am currently in the lead in the pool, despite having the fewest games played so far and only 2 from Smoove, Amare and Jefferson so I stand to be a lot further ahead in blks then I am now (have a 5 in that category as it stand, probably would be a 10 if those guys had more games).

My personal stand on Durant has always been to deal him for a vet stud and an upgrade at another position. So getting VC or Ray for Durant would be the vet stud, and Melo/VC/Ray would be the upgrade over Mike Miller. Could be RJ instead of Miller too.

He won't give two of those 3 easily. The only deals I think could happen are me giving MM or RJ. He won't take Jameer or Hedo for example no matter how hot they are to start the season.

Any thoughts on the Durant 1 for 1's or 2 for 2's?
