Default Who will be the Heat's PG

A Western Conference executive said even though the Heat wants to upgrade at point guard and the 76ers' Andre Miller is considered available, he cautioned, ''Miller's not a Pat Riley point guard. He doesn't shoot [consistently] from range, he's always overweight and he's limited defensively.'' That executive said besides the Kings' injured Mike Bibby, Portland's Jarrett Jack and Seattle's Luke Ridnour and Earl Watson are considered available.

It looks like Mike Bibby, Jarrett Jack, Luke Ridnour, or Earl Watson could be the PG for the Heat.

Who would would you guys like to see run the point?

The Heat are still a ? at the PG spot but last nite Chris Quinn was on fire hitting 6 3pts to keep Miami in it last nite and had 22pts on 7-13 shooting and 6-10 from 3pt. What do you guys think about the Heats PG problem?

Maybe Bibby, but he's very big "ball spender" for a PG. He shoots more than SG FFS...

I'd take either Bibby or Jarrett Jack.
Bibby would be a risk, he's injured and could come back not the same guy, but that's a risk I would be prepared to take, and I'm a big fan of Jarrett Jack, I'd love to see him in Miami.

I think Chris Quinn can be the point guard the heat need. He does everything that is needed in miami's system, he protects the ball, he shoots the 3 and defends well. From what I've seen so far he can handle the spot well.

i think that the best thing for heat is to get Mike Bibby or Luke Ridnour. I think Chris Quinn is to slow to be at point, he has good range but they need somebody that fast that can pass. I watched the bucks and heat and he is soo slow.:)

He's only a sophmore. Speed can be developed. Beside, the heat are a walk em up team. They don't need a fast point guard, but one who can take care of the ball and put the ball where it needs to be.

I've seen him defend, he's an underated defender. He's no gary payton, but he can get the job done, and he'll only get better ... hopefully.
