Fouling a poor shooter for 3 free throws... brilliant.

Losers. They'll always be the Clippers of the east.

So when is Atlanta going to get a PG? Acie Law sure doesn't look like one.

Calm down Uncle Ruckus, we just went toe to toe with the best team in the East without our starting pg and center...we weren't going to go 82-0. Hell with our schedule I'd be happy with 5-5 out of our first 10

Re: Game Thread: Pistons vs. Hawks
Well this is a good loss for the Hawks. Obviously no loss is good per se, but losing to the arguably best team in the East by only one point is a good sign. Atlanta has definitely improved, and it shows. Solid home win against the Mavs, and a close road loss against the Pistons. They're showing some good signs early. Possibly they can become a playoff team.

Re: Game Thread: Pistons vs. Hawks
The Pistons don't play well against bad teams, so competing with them isn't a huge accomplishment. The Bobcats are Detroit's regular season nemesis.

Hawks inexperience really showed in the 4th quarter. Tough loss.
Nice game by marvin though 22 pts on 8-12 shooting.

34-48 if they're lucky. Speedy Claxton and ZaZa are not starters on good teams.
