Default Al Horford?

Is he worth hanging on to? . I'm already pretty stacked in the middle but amare stoudemire's health is a big concern for me. I see the potential in Horford, I just don't know if it will show this year or next. He's not really scoring right now. But he's good for double figure rebounds any night.

Chris Wilcox is available on my waiver wire. Is he a a more solid choice right now?

Unless you're in dire need of blocks, I would take Wilcox. Zaza will be back soon.

Take Wilcox and don't look back. He's a safe pick.

You don't want a risky Horford with usual rookie up and downs when you already have Amare to worry about.

I appreciate all the advice fellas. I went ahead and made that move to get Wilcox. Maybe next time Horford, I just need the extra scoring right now.

Just to add Wilcox is a veteran primed for his career year after all the training and maturity coming together.

Do people think Horford has more potential than someone like Foye who is available in my league? I am pretty set on rebounds for the most part since the only guy that had more than me last week had Camby on his team and I blew everyone else away and that is all Horford is really bringing right now. I could wait longer though just need to know when Foye is expected back.

Anyone have an idea of how good of FT shooter Horford was in college? I am trying to get an idea of where to expect his FT% to be. He didn't start good at all but I see the last 3 games he has shot very nicely.

Al Horford is a very bad FT% shooter. 2005-2006 he shot .611 and in 2006-2007 he shot .644
