T-Mac doesn't speak his mind but Kobe does? Kobe is the only one that has the guts to speak his mind? Kobe gives cookie cutter answers to the media unless he's blowing his top. Over the course of their careers, T-Mac has called it how he's seen it a crapload more than Kobe. T-Mac was very, very vocal in Orlando. He has no reason to be in Houston.

LeBron is cookie cutter and he's the only good example you gave. Tons of players in the league speak their minds. Kobe is one of the most cookie cutter motherf˙ckers around when it comes to giving interviews unless, like I said, he happens to be extremely mad at the time. And you cited Kobe as the only player with the guts in the league to speak their mind... unbelievable... I could name no less than 10 without giving it a second thought that speak their minds on a consistent basis far more than Kobe Bryant.
TMac does call it like it is. Remember he called out the refs in the Finals?

How can you get any rivalry going when players are not even allowed to play the game and even express themselves in the smallest way on the court without some penalty.

Wow, what sports are you talking about to make that kind of statement? Every other sport that has contact has some kinda of perimiter aound the game to protect the fans / players. Hockey, baseball, lacross, soccer, football ect. So what sport are you talking about? And what does race have to do with anything?

Sometimes it's wiser to be quiet then to expose yourself as a fool.

Barrier to protect the fans? You're so ****en stupid it's not even funny. There have been many instances in baseball where the players have went into the stands and many instances where the fans have went onto the field. Football? You call what they have a barrier? The barriers are to keep the ****en fans out douche bag. In baseball you can have bench clearing brawls with an 90 yr old Don Zimmer throwing down and it's all good. Pitchers throwing at the heads of the opposing team's players. Hockey, it's part of the culture but only in basketball you're not even allowed to look at the other players, dress codes, etc. "Sometimes it's wiser to be quiet then to expose yourself as a fool"

You cannot blame Stern for no rivalries or dearth thereof. The NBA tries each Christmas to build them but they just haven't yet redeveloped. It's hard to have a rivalry when players keep changing teams so the rivalries are between coaches, like D' Antoni and Phil.

Thank you, b4ball. You made my afternoon.

Just a quick tip for those who don't want to make my afternoon fun:
You're = you are
Your = possessive
