PG: Bibbey / Nate
SG: Carter / Richardson
SF: Artest / Balkman / Jeffries
PF: Randolph / Boone / M. Rose
C : Miller / James / Randolph
Again, on paper they look good. They would have another extremely talented offensive unit. Miller would probably fit in much better than Curry with his high post game. SF gets better, SG gets better, PG looks solid.
How?
(tweak as needed)
TRADE 1:
Marbury, Curry , Collins, Chandler
for
Bibbey, Artest, Miller
Sacramento would get some young and talented players in Curry, Collins and Chandler. Marbury has 1 more season after this one, and then he's free to go to Italy. Curry gives the Sacramento front line a whole other dimension.
TRADE 2:
Crawford, Lee, F.Jones, #1
for
Carter, Boone
The Nets have shown RJ can be the leader on this team and win even while Carter stinks it up. I'm sure they would love to get out of VC's contract while they can. Lee would be the rebounder and the type of player Kidd loves to play with. Jamal is still relatively young and talented.
the only player on that list I would want would be Carter, but not at the expense of Crawford.....I would be willing to part w/Bury though but I don't see them wanting (yet alone not needing him) when they have Kidd....other then that, the (Bibby-Artest-Miller) deal wouldn't help out, just be another bad deal on Isiah's part imho.
I'm sure they would love to get out of VC's contract while they can.
Uh, what are you talking about? They just recently re-signed him. If they wanted to get out of his contract, they wouldn't have made the deal in the first place.

The way he's looking so far (and the way RJ is looking), I bet they do want out. They resigned him more because they had to. They couldn't just let him go, because they could not have replaced his level of talent with free agency, At least by signing him they can get value for him and fill needs. This deal would do that and save them money.
I don't think NJ would want Carter out yet. I mean it's 4 games into the season, the Nets are 3-1 and Carter is playing injured. Jamal Crawford would be a huge downgrade
