Default Rudy Gay?

I dropped him for Salmons, since all he does is put up some points (at least double figs) and Salmons has been good across the board. I'm afraid that Gay's touches will increase as well as the rest of his numbers as the season goes on. Was this smart?

Thanx.

I haven't lost hope with Rudy Gay yet. His end of the year looked promising/Multi-cat kind of player. Salmons looks really good, but I'm worried about his PT when the squad begins to return to full strength. Does my team look like I could use any help? Trade ideas to strengthen my depth?

PG- Arenas, Felton, Harris, Calderon
SG- Kevin Martin, Mike Miller
SF-Korver, Rudy Gay, R Brewer
PF- Dwight Howard, Al Jefferson
C- Biedrins, Horford

12 team/H2H/9 cats

I have him on my squad as I am sure he will get plenty of scoring opportunities as he gradually gets more minutes. He should do well.

I have him, and although he didnt start off the year with the 35/15/8/5/3/3 that I was hoping for, I also expect this his numbers will continue to increase throughout the season.

EDIT:

Though Salmons's #s are good now, they are bound to decrease upon the return of Artest, and he'll get even fewer looks when Bibby comes back.

At worst they will have the same value. Less points on Gay's side.

More of the valueable odd ball cats.

I think you might regret dropping Gay. He had a really good night tonight and while he may disappear at times like he was likely to do in college. He is worth holding onto for the nights when he is on because he is going to give you stats in a lot of cats and it is nice to get some blks from sf.
