Do you get Marion? If so, take that deal. He is perennially ranked the #1 fantasy player, and people under rate him every year.

I'm the one with Chris Paul, but like someone else said, I would be left with only Rondo as a pg, if I did that deal.

If he's ranked number one, how can he be underrated?

He meant people underrating him coming into draft.... he rarely goes top 3.

He's statistically the best fantasy player, yet people wonder if they should or shouldn't hold on to Chris Paul or him. In other words, he is underrated or underappreciated.

Oh man...I wouldn't have done the deal in a roto league. Marion is a top 5 fantasy player every year..but still...you already have his cats taken care off. Now you are gonna be dead in assits. CP3 was dishing out assists equivalent to 2-3 players sometimes 4.

CP3 rebs are strong for a pg 6+.

Improving 3's. Slight edge to marion.

FT% is much greater. Same number above the 80's. BUT BUT BUT cp3 attempts 6-8 compared to marions 1-3 a game. Marions great % doesn't effect anything really. Paul on the other hand is boosting his overall numbers.

FG% slight to normal edge to marion.

blks obviously are marions but...still....considering everything else. this small gain isn't worth it.

Wish i was hear earlier.

btw, In 8 cat league minus turnovers marion's ranking was 5 last season and 1 the season before. Great when you look at it alone minus rosters.

Amares knee concerns are real. Very very real. He is going to need serious knee surgery in the next 3 seasons. watch.

Stick to the young non-injury player in jefferson. Richardson is tons more explosive than gordon. Stay put.

Why not take the much better player in Marion, and trade someone else for a point guard?
Get a mid-level point guard like T.j. Ford.

Didn't your read what i posted? Read it again. I explained it clear as day in San Diego.

Marion isn't much better. CP3 finished 23(05) and 17(06)last two seasons. Top 25 is elite in NBA not much difference in that range. Pauls current 5 ranking to marions 15. Marion will rise guaranteed. But still...look at this team not just the players.

This is about needs not talent. I explained this in another post.

He is loaded with rebounders and forwards. Rondo is now his #1 pg. Who's specialty is stls not assists.

CP3 is worth two TJ Fords and ford isn't a midlevel pg. Currently the number 9 pg in assists. If you can't do the math...he is in the top 3rd of the 30 teams.

Sigh...Ok, so what do I do now? I can't cancel the trade, and now Rondo is my only PG-capable player. Do I go for waivers, where Devin Harris and Jarret jack are on the line, or do i try and attempt a trade for a better PG? However, the Al Jefferson trade can easily be changed to an Amare and Felton trade for my al jefferson and jason richardson. Should I try that?

Why do you seem hell bent on trading Al Jefferson?

Rajon Rondo,
Jason Richardson, Peja, Azu, Ricky Davis
Walton, Brewer
David West, Shawn Marion, Al Jefferson
Pau Gasol, Diaw(Amares injury only boosts diaws assists), Brendan Haywood

Targeting non-pg's with assists is a supplemental strategy.

Can you get Manu? good assists from sg.

Dirk is a good assist man as well. Maybe out of your range.

Hinrich may come cheap. 500+ assists.

Good news. Your supporting cast will produce some assists.

Gasol's 2 assists a game will move up closer to 4-5

Diaw is averaging 5+

Rondo will contribute 3-5 a game

Davis can contribute to the pot. Better when Wade returns.

Walton 4-6.

Keep your eyes open for other under the radar assists.
