As much as I hate to admit it, this team really needs to pick a direction. They need to rebuild, that's all there is to it, this team has the potential to be pretty good if they get the right pieces. JO is stagnating this offense. He riminds me of an old, beat up NFL RB and it's time to say farewell, I just wish that it is going to be sooner, rather than later. If the right deal could be struck, this is still a young season, we are good enough to be in the playoffs with the right pieces.
vs. washington the other night...o'neal chucked up 2 3ptrs and not surprising, missed both. what's up w/ rush playing 9 mins and not even scoring one point, let alone not even a 3ptr?
I say just trade J'O to the Lakers for one of their big men like Brian Cook and expiring contract Kwame Brown and one of their young PG's and call it a day.

yeah I'm starting to think the same. Atleast trade J.O. O'neal is done, he is not playing good basketball atm.
Keep in mind though Jermaine missed a good chunk of the offseason due to knee surgery. He also missed training camp and the preseason. So Jermaine is still trying to play himself into shape. I expect Jermaine by December or January will be averaging his usual 20 and 10.

Haha, maybe we should try a little harder in next offseason's Elimination Game. It's looking like jbot's had the best prediction for this season so far with his support for Granger.
