Default new strategy for pistons

i think pistons rely too much on their 4 starters, so this is what they should do, take a page out of SA Spurs and bench one of their starters like spurs did with ginobili.

new starting unit

pg billups
sg rip
sf hayes
pf max
c sheed

new bench
pg flip/stuckey
sg afflalo
sf prince
pf mcdyss
c nazr/check samb

Default Re: new strategy for pistons

If anything, I'd have Rip or (more likely) McDyess coming off the bench and put Afflalo or Maxiell in their place. I'd never give up the defense that Prince provides at the start of the game.

It drives me crazy that we have two very similar players in the starting lineup with Rasheed and McDyess. It sucks to go for stretches without one of them as an option.

Also, it'll be Stuckey/Flip, not Flip/Stuckey...
