i wouldn't conisder trading either one of them unless the team that you were making a trade with offered some really good player. So in other words it depends on who the player is
Re: Would You Ever Trade Marvin Williams or Josh Smith?
How far do you think the Hawks can go though with Josh Smith at PF and Horford at center? I don't think they'll get anywhere in the playoffs, I think they need another bruiser down low. I like Tyson Chandler, but I wouldn't trade either of the two for him.

i thought that hortford played PF and Zaza played Center?
Re: Would You Ever Trade Marvin Williams or Josh Smith?
Me too but then Smith or Marvin's coming off the bench, and that just ain't right. I know Marvin'd probably be fine with it, but that's wasting some talent. And Smith at PF would be out of position, IMO. I'd like to see a trade for a star PG or C. Unfortunately, I don't know of any deals that could happen.

ya but the thing is if the hawks want to trade for a good player they will have to give up one of thier star players and they only have about 4
Re: Would You Ever Trade Marvin Williams or Josh Smith?
Josh Smith, NO!!!!!!!!!!!, he's too good and he lights up the hawks whenever he is given the oppourtinity. Hes a future all-star. Marvin, yes or no, depends if its now or the future. Now hes a great shooter and he pumps up the crowd, but thats pretty much it, so maybe now. If in the future, no, he will be a good veteran, so if you want to trade him trade him now.
Re: Would You Ever Trade Marvin Williams or Josh Smith?
The problem the Hawks are facing is that Josh Smith, at this point, is a better player, but Marvin was the #2 overall pick in 2005 and both are small forwards. If Josh Smith signs a big deal after this season, then they have to explore the option of moving Marvin Williams for another player with potential at another position. I'm not sure Acie Law is the answer at the PG spot.

calderon is an allstar calber player as well, when he gets starting mintues, all i got to say is in 3 games, 3 turnovers, 43 assists,
but your gm sucks ass so he would never do a calderon for marvin,
btw do you think a bargnani, calderon, grahm for smithm childress and zaza is fair?
