Vlade and Peja have a basketball clinic here in Sacto every year. My brother met him last year at a dinner fundraiser and they talked basketball. Well my brother did talk to him last weekend again alot about the Lakers at this years fundraiser. I dont know if this was a byas comment but he said the radman is the most athletic white guy in the game today. I never payed that much attention except for his 3s but if this statement is some what true hopefuly we will see it this year!
haha well hopefully he wasnt on drugs because I see radman lookin exactly like peja and troy murphy and mike deunleavy
hmm maybe Vlade has a point. Peja? Murphy? Dunleavy? Maybe he is the most athletic. Who else is there? Ginobilli? Sczerbiac? Darko? I guess a case can be made for Darko or Ginobilli.
nash and morrison and hinrich are definitely not athletic. To me athletes are the Wades and the Lebron's w/ 40+ inch verticals. Nash and Hinrich can ran fast I guess, but that's it. Morriosn can shoot.........by that defintion, Chris "birdman" Anderson would be one of the more athletic white folk.
athleticism is about a lot more than high-flyin'...can he put the ball on the floor? see the floor? move his feet defensively?
I've personally hung out with, and played pick-up with Steve Nash. He is unbelievably athletic (due in large part from his soccer days).
Morrison is very athletic...just ask Jordan and everyone he torched in summer league.

Did he kick your ass?
Is he so quick to the point where he breaks ur ankles all the time?

what was the score?
His squad won, but I don't think he was trying that hard anyway. Basically he could score at will from anywhere on the court. He was playing the 2 while his friend played the point. I guarded the point, with limited success. Nash was probably the best (and most athletic!) I've ever played with...including Steve Kerr, who also scored at will.

grew up in LA playing ball w Steve Kerr (we went to HS together). played lots of pickup at UCLA with all their players. for those of you who might remember him, my fondest memory was throwing an alley-oop to David Greenwood (long before he blew his knee).
now I live in Phoenix and happen to know some prominent local folks.
