Sean Singletary and Tyrece Rice are better PG than Strawberry. How do some frosh make this list and Tywon Lawson not? NBA potential for Gerald Henderson perhaps, but dude wasn't even the best player on his HS team.
Thats just the beginning. You do have some sleepers on here, but the ACC picks were surely off.
I know nothing(and don't care to) about players from those bum schools Towson, Eastern Washington...etc
^ Collins will play. He won't start, but he will play plenty. Bill Self has already said Russell Robinson will be the starting PG at KU until he graduates. He is the most solid overall player on the team. Collins playing time will depend alot on if he is willing to get out there and really play good defense. Robinson and Chalmers are absolutely amazing defenders, Collins will be an upgrade offensively however. Julian Wright said that Collins is destroying people in the pick up games. Breaking down the defense at will, and distributing the ball to all the weapons the Jayhawks have. That said, If he doesn't play hard defense he won't play. Period. Ask Micah Downs
He can thank Anthony Longstreet for that, because he'd be starting for what would be a borderline Top 10 team otherwise. (No, I'm not talking about Kansas. No, I don't care if Kansas fans call this sour grapes, because we all know the truth, and besides, a year from now, we'll have McCamey and Gordon and Sherron Collins will be "Who?")
Dominic James and Jerel McNeal should be one of the best backcourts in college basketball. McNeal's a guy I wanted at Illinois, but I guess it's safe to say Jamar Smith is gonna work out pretty well instead.
