we got a good deal in trading croshere. but i stilll don't know why they traded johnson(my fav pacer). tinsley doesn't deserve to start over him so that shouldn't be an argument anyway. johnson was our most consitent starter who even outplayed jason kidd, an all-star. i think it'll turn into some curse or something. look for sarunas, greene, and daniels playing pg alot.

i would look for indy to waive marshall but possibly keep powell.

Well, I would say that these moves are good for us long term, though they may end up hurting us in the short term (next season). Johnson and Croshere were vets who have contributed to the Pacers. Johnson in particular will be missed, and his departure leaves us with some question marks.

However, I think that acquiring Daniels will, in the long run, be a very good move for the Pacers. I think he should be our starting SG for the future, and he brings defense, ball handling, and passing that we desperately need in the backcourt. The rest of the guys (Armstrong, Powell, etc.) seem like short term acquisitions and salary cap relief. Overall, I think Daniels is enough to justify parting with Croshere and AJ, and he should be an important player for us for some time.

i sure hope so. johnson's trade was a total surprise, i thought tinsley was gone for sure. i do agree that daniels will probably be the starting 2 guard.

I like the two trades for the Pacers because we got younger. But it suck to see johnson go.

Daniels is a solid player. Pacers needed someone like him to fill in the 2 spot. He always wanted to start but Josh Howard's game was better than his. I think hes perfect with Indiana.
