Default They've gone this far....

They have come out with system that are 3-D and look as real as can be....how do they trump it though? Do they use real people?

NBA games, do they take a picture of everyone at each angle and go from there?

Discuss...

Ya. Ive been wondering the same thing. I think eventually it will be so advanced it'll be like watching a movie, but controlling what they're doing.

ehh

They can always improve upon:

1. The motions of the players. Make them more smooth.
2. The commentating.
3. And yes they can always make sweat look realer, skin look realer. Is realer a word? More real I guess.

I was thinking the same. That would be cooooooooooool as hell. Probably about a thousand dollars per system.

its just a matter of processing power. They can create 3d images that look photo-realistic, even animations that come close but its another thing to do that when you're animating the models in real time.

As computers get stronger and stronger (and consoles by extension) it's only a matter of time before it'll be hard to tell a game on TV apart from a game on your PS15/Xbox1080 or whatever.
