what?

the dude can't shoot. and they are not gonna give that type of rookie any chance on the rotation, not even brendan wright right now. they have enough in beidrins and harrington - 2 big guys who can spread the warrior offense inside and out.

i really like jason richardsons game, but in fairness, he had a pretty pricey contract for a guy who does what pretty much everyone else on that team does too. i cant argue with the decision to maintain fiscal discipline, I just think they wasted the draft pick they got for him.

The Warriors are a team that likes to avoid paying the luxury tax, Harrington is making 8 million dollars and expires after next year so there's a good chance he could be traded or not re-signed. Beidrins is in the final year of his deal right now and and if the Warriors had drafted Noah they wouldnt have to get in a bidding war over Biedrins this offseason.

I dont subscribe to need-based drafting. If there's a guy who's the best player on the board and is a perfect fit for your team, take him. Guys get hurt, guys demand too much money, things happen. Needs can change quickly. If you draft the best talent the worst thing that can happen is you end up with a deep bench.

this spurs team are stripped of their pride and game without duncan!

their offense really flows through duncan and without him teams do not have to burden the paint much and draw extra defenders. the spurs are forced to settle from the perimeter, which is not as automatic as many give them credit for. playmakers such as ginobili and parker flourish off of timmy. he is the one that opens up the game for everybody on this team.

what a huge confidence boost this would be for the warrirors.

even if the spurs are missing duncan, they still gotta play against core spurs guys like parker, ginobili, bowen, finley, oberto, and their whole cast of productive role players

the spurs team they're routing tonite beat utah and dallas with the same lineup. so thats a pretty nice win for the WAAAAAAAAARRRIORRRRZZZZZZ

They probably didn't want Duncan to play in his first game back vs a running team.

So did this game show that Duncan is that valuable? I am not watching the game so I don't really know what the Spurs are doing.

i wouldnt read too much into it for either team, after getting big wins against the jazz and mavericks without duncan this week, having to then go and play the warriors @ golden state just screams trap game. but it should at least give the warriors some confidence back after their loss to LA

Hey, anyone starting to realize the Warriors actually can play defense? If not, that's ok. Keep thinking they can't. :)

Good to see the Warriors beat the Spurs though. Now if they can just get a couple wins agianst the Jazz and Lakers...
