Default ESPN or EA SPORTS?

I know that EA Sports bought out the ESPN series, but a few years ago ESPN football was sellin and actually gave Madden a run for it's money..literally... They sold ESPN football for $19.99.. A cheap affordable price and the game to me was quality... and they had NFL primetime which was awesome to have... If Madden added that it would make it alot better...

Which is the better sports game creator?

Espn by far. The gameplay is better and you feel and control it.

NFL 2k5 was a classic. It's still better than madden08 and has better graphics imo.(XBOX). Hopefully they fix up All pro football.

Football: 2K
NFL 2K5 is still the best.

Basketball: 2K
NBA 2K beats Live almost every years.

Baseball, Hockey: EA
I don't play both sport games, so I toss this one up.

Soccer: EA
It's just because 2K doesn't have one. Winning Eleven is still better.

I prefer the games from ESPN too. EA is ok, but normally the gameplay is a way better by ESPN games.

EA Sports barely uses the ESPN license. It's such a waste. When 2K had it, they halftime/post game shows and even weekly recaps with highlights. Chris Berman and his "whoooop!" included. It made you feel like you were really watching ESPN. EA Sports games have horrible presentation. I wish 2k would get ESPN back and even TNT. They know how to make it feel like you are at a real game.

microsoft recently made nfl2k5 compatible with the xbox 360, so if you missed out the first time like i did, you should check it out. if you don't own the game, you can buy it at gamestop for 2 dollars or so. i played it for the second time ever tonight, and love it. the presentation is definitely top notch.
