it wasn't a typo, he started at power forward for a month or 2 with charlotte, and had games with double digit boards, like the one against us where he had 14 of em. He is 6-8 240, 2 inches shorter than shav but the same weight, and he can hit the three. i would rather have shav as the 3rd big for center and power forward. And about green, he won't play much pg anyway cuz ai plays the whole game. He will get most of his minutes with ai, so they are kind of like "1.5" guards.

I know exactly how big he is, he played for the Sixers in the past. He's a wing player, though. I don't care if he played center for 10 games last season, I wouldn't put him ahead of any true PF on the depth chart, especially not one that showed quite a bit of promise like Shav did. Jones can have all the double-digit rebounding games he wants, I'd rather have Shav in there, especially when you consider the size mismatches it creates in the post and having the two numbnuts at center, who are both terrible in helping defensively.

wow, ur name is ppierce 34 but u act like ur a true sixers fan...and as for randolph, he's not a solid 4th big right now, and jumaine plays the 3/4 so he should play more than shav. He is not ready to be the main backup, and if he ends up bein our main backup then we are in trouble.

My name has nothing to do with how much of a Sixer fan I am. Making baseless judgements just proves you're lacking a solid point.

As a back-up to Webber, seeing as Hunter could see minutes at PF as well, Shav will probably be 15-20 minute a game player, that's not significant. And when you take into play that one of the strongest points of Jones game is hit perimeter D, taking him and using him as the 1st of 2nd big off the bench is stupid. Having him try to defend big men in the post would be a bad idea. I don't think anyone that watched the Sixers last season would say that Shav didn't deserve more minutes and has shown to be hard-working player, I feel far more comfortable with him giving 15+ minutes off the bench at PF than I do a guy who would be playing out of position in Jones, because Jones is not a 3/4, he's a wing player, he's more of a 2/3 than a 3/4.

Based on where we ended up last year that seems logical, but you are giving too many other teams too much credit. I am confident that this team can take the fourth seed.

I'm a Sixers fan, but I'm not confident this team can make the playoffs. But I have faith in Iverson, so I can at least be hopeful.
