I like it a lot, not that Nazr is a bad player, but he was unneeded here. He will be a solid starting center for you guys. I've been a fan of Brezec and Herrman for a while so I'm excited to see if they can fit in on a team that hasn't been known to integrate foreign players well.

Brezec is very soft so while he can do a job, I think he needs the right system and team mates to do well. Herrmann has looked very good at times and just think that we (the Bobcats) had too many wing players with similar skills (Wallace and Dudley while JRich, Carroll and Morrison are also wings). He has played OK at the 4 in a small line-up contributing in all areas, and shot over 0.4 from 3 point range so is a complete player if he can get some settled play time every match even if it's as a back-up.

Think the trade will help both our teams

I like the fact that it clears up a lot of cap room for Detroit. The players Detroit gave up weren't going to play here and it isn't because they suck, it's more they just didn't fit in the system. I think Nazr will actually do much better in Charlotte. It should help them out quite a bit.

I actually don't like it for Charlotte, but I like it for Detroit. I'm amazed that Charlotte wanted Nazr in exchange for expirers, considering how valuable they are in today's NBA. There's not much better Detroit can do than get expirers, but I'm not sure Nazr is a huge upgrade over Brezec for Charlotte.

I wouldn't be surprised if Detroit moved these two again for someone else at the deadline, if the need arises. Expirers are valuable to teams that aren't going to make the playoffs.

I think one thing we all over looked was now the Pistons can bring back Webber for the veterans minimum and not be over the cap. I think they do it, just before the all star break. With a healthy and rested Webber it would add much more depth to the front court to make that end of the season push.

He had a great game last night in his first start for the bobcats.

According to the box score, it sure looks like it. 3 blocks?!? Played 38 minutes, took a bunch of shots...

I'm happy for him, though. Everything I read always stated that he was always professional and worked really hard. He didn't deserve to be 4th big in the rotation, he deserved better.
