Baron and Haslem might work, but I dont know if Haslem is enough of an upgrade over the players he already has at either the F, Util or even Bench spots. However, he does need some boards from his F position, since RJ and TMac dont get a ton.

You could try for Nash with Baron and VC. He might not accept because he'd have three Nets on his team, but the value is there for the trade. It might seem like a lot, but it might get it done.

Do you think that would be good for me? I edited my post with a deal for Paul. CP's owner wants Baron.

I would rather have cp then nash. I'm not sure who you'd get for that + 1 but it sounds pretty good to me. I have jrich and i'm not very happy w/ his performance. You will lose out on some threes but it will help your %'s a lot.

I told him that I didn't want Childress, and he is willing to talk, so hopefully I will get someone half decent out of the trade. Maybe I should try for Durant or Dalembert and trade him for someone else. Not sure.

So whats the deal on the table? Baron and JRich for Paul and someone else or just Paul?

I think I'd take it either way. Paul could always get hurt, but Baron WILL get hurt. I'd love to unload him, and I'd love to get rid of JRich personally as well, and to get Paul for it? Thank you very much

Yea, the deal verbally is Baron and JRich, for Paul and someone else. And not Childress. I am thinking about asking for durant or maybe Thomas. We can see where it will go.

PG Chris Paul (NO - PG)
SG Kevin Durant (Sea - SG,SF)
G Mike Miller (Mem - SG,SF)
SF Tim Thomas (LAC - SF,PF)
PF Anderson Varejao (Cle - PF,C)
F Rudy Gay (Mem - SG,SF)

Util Josh Childress (Atl - SG,SF)
Util Ben Gordon (Chi - SG)
BN LaMarcus Aldridge (Por - PF,C) INJ
BN Derek Fisher (LAL - PG)
BN Kevin Martin (Sac - SG) INJ

Well if you want to be greedy i would go for mike miller since hes not doing as well as they expected or Gay. Realistically tho i doubt you'll get them but a better guy then childdress that will make up for your threes would be Tim Thomas. I think Tim Thomas and CP for Jrich and Baron sounds good to me!

I was about to do it, but as I looked at the numbers, he was upgrading on every cat, except FG and FT% so I didn't offer it. I may be stuck to get something good out of this.

Well if you go by numbers i don't think you can make a trade like this. Altho i haven't seen the numbers you are trading baron b/c he is super injury prone for cp the next up and coming pg. Its hard to crunch numbers for this type of trade.

Thats true. When he gets hurt, his numbers will mean nothing.

I just talked with the owner of Nash, and he said he was willing to trade him but for a decent deal. I offered him JRich and Baron for Nash and Dunleavy. We will see what happens.

maybe baron+jrich for paul+kevin martin or maybe bg or kd

both baron and jrich have a long history of injuries + jrich is struggling. Paul gives you monster assist consistently

Giving away baron and jrich is the best option imo. I like the nash and kevin martin. He should have low enough value since hes hurt for a bit. Nash will definitely keep you afloat w/ ast for now and you can dominate later on. This is all assume you are in a position to stash martin.

I cant believe you could deal Baron and Jrich for Nash AND someone else. If I was the other owner, I wouldnt give any more than just Nash. I hope you score yourself a deal, but basically whoever he offers as the second player in the deal, take it. You're winning even if its just Nash
