+ 1 = 10 now... I remember there was a guy from WA (Perth?) who had the pope as his avatar, talking about house/land/accomodation... theres prob plenty others out there too...

as for the WCs... I think Australia is gonna struggle - they've got talent but chemisty seems to be a problem. No disrespect to NZ, but we shouldn't be losing to them. IMO - talent wise we are way above that.

Also Australia are missing Luke Scheschner, Chris Anstey, David Andersen and Chris Anstey of whom are all big man. So the majority of the responsability comes to Andrew Bogut now to carry to the team. As I can really see either Brad Newley or CJ Bruton being much of a threat to opposing teams.
And referring that Australia losing a series to New Zealand to forget that in the last World Champs, New Zealand finished fourth.

Also, rifleman, I would like to contact you about something. But I am un-able to do it as you dont accept PMs or emails so .... I'll just let you no here that there is an Australian Basketball Forum site - www.andrewbogut.com.au and we would much appericate it if you checked out the site and even possibly become an active forum member.

Australia beat France 77-71 with Andrew Bogut scoring 20pts and Brad Newley coming of the bench and scoring 17 points on 3-of-4 three-pointers.

Yao Ming scored 21 points to give China a 63-61 win over Australia in their final exhibition game before the world championships in Japan.

However, the game was largely a battle between Yao and Andrew Bogut, Bogut ended the game with scored 20 points. Bogut looks to be hitting top form after a stella performance against France.

Sam Mackinnon scored 12 points, Jason Smith added 10 and Brad Newley scored eight points for Australia.

The loss drops Australia's Stankovic Cup record to one win and two defeats after falling to Greece but triumphing over France.

With at least 10 aussies now does anyone know about bringing NBA TV to OZ.
Sam Mckinnon looked like a younger player against Brazil. Great game to watch. Thank god that FoxSports decided to televise some of the world champs.
