But rookie Jordan was worst then Shaq as well...If you actually totally switched situations accurately(any other way is biased and voids the comparison) and put a young rookie Jordan with Shaq out of college...You would end up with a lot of the same problems.

Again, Shaq's problem wasn't that Bryant and Penny got undeserving hype... His problem was that they simply got a lot of hype which subsequently took some of his shine away. Given the type of hype that Jordan would get, it would be a problem.

And then there are the problems Jordan would have, having to sacrifice his game in order to please a player who had a poor work ethic and often approached the game lackadasically...

Rookie Jordan was not worse than rookie Shaq. Where are you coming from?

But they'd be winning, so you really don't know how Jordan would take that. You just assume there'd be fireworks because there were with Kobe.

there really wouldnt be a problem with shaq feuding with mj, because then they can trade shaq and still win chips. They had a pretty sick team even minus shaq. Obviously they would side with MJ, because regardless of who he is playing with jordan's gonna bring u billions of dollars a year from jersey sales alone. Then they would trade shaq, and at the time he was a straight monster, so they'd prob get a superstar or at least a couple of fringe stars on the rise, which would be enough for jordan to take them to the promise land, so either way win win for MJ! zing!

Jordan has already mentioned that had he been on Shaq's team, he'd dump the ball to Shaq every time down the court because he knew that eventually they'd have to double Shaq. And he'd get clear open looks at the basket. MJ would probably shoot 80% from the field next to Shaq.

No, you place rookie Jordan in the same situation rookie Kobe was placed in. Shaq has just come to the team through FA, Jordan's a star rookie with out of this world skill and confidence, and he thinks [naturally] thinks that he should be getting more shots than what's being given to him.

Given MJ's attitude for the time before he won a championship, I can't imagine him coexisting with Shaq in as peaceful of a way as you're talking about.

That's exactly what a Kobe homer would say. MJ was humble enough to play in a system under Dean Smith. He played within the team concept in the Olympics as a youngster and has mentioned that he would dump Shaq the ball every time down the court if he ever had a Shaq on his team. Please stop with the Kobe-Jordan comparisons people. The only thing similar about them is mannerisms which Kobe studied for years and imitated. Make Kobe-Pippen comparisons first.
